The Micro Modular Bearing Press is designed with smaller hub and suspension bearings in mind. With drifts to service bearings with an inside diameter of 13 millimeters and smaller, this is a great choice for those smaller, more delicate bearings.
The press head features a true thrust bearing; this unique feature keeps the press action super smooth and cuts down on the effort required. The thrust bearing isolates all of the torque from the compression, which allows your bearing to go in square. It works so well that you don't need even need handles.
The press head has a 6mm hex in the top of the press head so you can use it as a bail out gear in case you find something that is fitting excessively tight.

Suspension service is a specialty within bicycle repair, and it takes specialized tools to perform this work. One of the things that any factory tech will tell you is nice to have are sockets specifically made or altered for the low profile hex on the top of each fork leg. The lead-in or chamfer on a standard socket will greatly decrease the contact between tool and part and can easily scratch or deform those nuts. For years shops have been grinding down their sockets to remove the chamfer. The problem is that you're still often left with a loose-fitting socket that is still prone to chewing up those delicate parts. That's why we started from scratch.
We made our sockets from billet aluminum to exacting tolerances to keep these parts in good shape. Fully CNC-machined with zero lead-in, they make the specialty that is suspension service a little bit easier. They feature a 3/8" square drive for use with your favorite torque wrench as well as finger splines to help run the top caps into the fork legs with those oil soaked hands. We also kept them short (1" or 25mm for all sizes) to reduce the chance of them slipping off of the top cap under torque.
- Made from billet aluminum to exacting tolerances to keep form damaging the suspension
- Finger splines so you can thread it easily by hand
- 3/8" square drive
- Short (1"/25mm for all sizes) to reduce the chance of them coming off of the top cap under torque
- Made in Bend, Oregon
Applications
- 24mm socket - used on SRAM top caps
- 26mm socket - used on Marzocchi and Reverb sealheads
- 27mm socket - used on Fox and X-Fusion top caps
- 30mm socket - used on the RS-1 SRAM sealhead removal tool as well as a handful of other forks.
- 6-size set covers most modern suspension forks on the market: 24, 26, 27, 28, 30 and 32mm

The Crombie tool is a game changer when it comes to swapping cassettes.
Whether you're a professional mechanic swapping cassettes several times a day or a DIY kind of guy, this gem has a place on your tool bench. The first time a quick release spring rolls under your bench the Crombie tool paid for itself. If you like to remove the cassette for a detailed cleaning or just swapping from one cassette to another, it's a big time saver and a breeze to use. This version of the tool has a Shimano/SRAM remover on one side with a Campagnolo on the other. A precision machined spline ensures maximum engagement and durability.
The STANDARD version comes with a solid handle which gives the tool some mass making it the preferred choice in the shop. The SUPER LIGHT version shaves 125 grams out of the handle. SL handles are plenty durable for lockrings that are torqued close to the 40 NM spec. If you commonly come across over torque lockrings get the standard handle!

We made a modular bearing press without handles and instead cut an 8mm hexagonal hole in the top. This allows you to use an allen wrench when you do run across that odd job that requires a bit of extra leverage.
Instead of making a press for hubs, another for bottom brackets, and a third for head tubes, we covered all three with one modular press system. The modular system consists of a press head, press shaft, shaft extension, and our patent-pending split nut. This keeps the press manageable for hubs and bottom brackets and allows you to extend the press for tall head tubes.
One of the most unique things about our press is the Split Nut. It's basically a nut that's cut in half and held close by industrial magnets. The hinged unit allows you to place it anywhere on the press shaft with no need to wind it down endlessly to press in a bearing. It also takes care of the pinch hazard that some other presses are known for.
The press head features a large ball thrust bearing. This keeps the press action super smooth and cuts down on the effort required.
Drifts included: PF-30, Shimano press fit, GXP press fit, 1.5" headset, 1.125" headset, centering cone. Drifts can be custom made as needed for specific applications.

With thru axles becoming more and more common, the original Crombie tool was due for a makeover. We took the piloting pin and plus-sized it to work with the 12mm thru axle fitment that is actually standardized. We make this version as a dual-sided tool with two S Group ends, one for thru axle wheels and the other for regular hubs. The regular side has a hole deep enough to hide a skewer nut; it's really the best of both worlds.
- Comes with a solid handle
- Note: this version of the Crombie tool is not compatible with any Campagnolo wheels.
- Dimensions: 9.625in x 1.0in

The Whip-It's round handle provides comfort surpassing other flatbar-style chain whips on the market. Two years in the making, this chain tool is built to stand the test of time.
The threaded body and lead screw are made from cro-moly and receive a low friction powder vapor deposition (PVD) coating to give it a silky feel you've never felt in a chain tool before. Large handles ensure ease of use with any chain. The freely rotating pin is made from a shock rated tool steel and will likely last as long as the rest of the tool. The chain tool comes with a spare chain pin in the handle and they are cross-compatible with Shimano and Campagnolo pins.
The greatest part of the chain tool has to be the interchangeable mid plate. The saddled part that holds the chain in position can be swapped to work with nearly anything the industry comes out with. This ensures that your investment won't become obsolete when company "X" comes out with an 18-speed cassette in 20 years.
The tool also peens Campagnolo 11 and 12 speed chains to factory specs using a backstop that threads into the backside of the tool as a stop.
Compatible with 9-12 speed chain, including the new 12-speed chains from Campagnolo and Shimano's XTR 9100.

These gems are machined to precisely fit the preload adjuster cap on all modern 24mm spindle Shimano cranks. The finger spline offers good leverage to install, remove, or adjust the preload cap. We also added a 5mm hex in the center should you need a little extra leverage that a hex key provides. These are also compatible with our fit kits and with the addition of a saddle height bullet can be used to more accurately measure saddle height.

This tool is compatible with all outboard bearing cups that our dual-sided Shimano socket doesn't fit, including Campagnolo, SRAM, FSA, and older Shimano.
These gems start as a 7075 aluminum billet and get precisely machined. We take the time to put some nice deep finger splines in this tool so you can thread the cup into the frame by hand with those greasy fingers you haven't washed in a while.
- Hard anodized and laser-engraved with torque specs.
- Use your favorite 3/8" square drive ratchet or torque wrench to tighten it down.
$45.00
While most other manufacturers cast or forge their bottom bracket tools, we machine ours for greater precision. Whenever you're dealing with anodized surfaces, great care needs to be taken to keep those surfaces from getting marred, gouged, and stripped out. That can be nearly impossible with some spanner style tools, and difficult with other loose-fitting sockets.
The most unique feature about this tool is the inner nub; that nub in the center of the tool is the same size as the crank spindle. What this does is give you a second point of contact that keeps the tool from coming off of the part when trying to remove stubborn cups.
This dual sided socket is designed to work with the new Shimano DA-9000/XTR-BB93 bottom bracket as well 6800 Ultegra and 5800 105 11spd groups (BBR-60).

Bearing drift designed for the SRAM DUB crank platform and use with the Abbey Bike Tools Modular bearing press.
SRAM recently launched a new crank platform called DUB to improve bearing durability and compatibility that modern frames have dictated. This 28.99mm spindle and its press fit bottom bracket requires some special drifts to install correctly. We worked with the crew at SRAM to develop tools for this and came up with some simple and important tweaks from a standard bearing drift.
These drifts have a tapered boss that forces the small O ring into its gland. A normal drift with a square boss can easily tear the fragile O ring that helps with bearing durability. So this basic modification makes sure your bottom bracket retains the durability it was designed to have.
- Comes as a set of two drifts
