Alma is for the the quickest lap times and the steepest climbs. Alma is for the strongest accelerations and highest altitudes. Alma is for the biggest stages, the loudest fans, and the toughest riders. Alma is for the fiercest competitors, the athletes who accept nothing less than superlatives. Refinements of Alma’s World Cup Geometry reflect the evolution of elite racing, like a slacker head angle (69.3º/69.5º) that provides stability on increasingly demanding tracks. A steeper seat angle and lower stack height increase handling precision and pedaling efficiency, and shorter (420/430mm) chainstays deliver maximum agility without instability. Orbea also engineered a natural flex point into the top tube by adding a fourth bend. This minimizes the effects of cornering stress and terrain impacts on traction and stability, resulting in an efficient, smooth, controlled ride that feels like floating over rough terrain. And, instead of trying to squeeze everybody onto a single wheel size, Orbea offers Big Wheels Concept (BWC), which results in four frame sizes and two wheel sizes – Small and Medium frames with 27.5-inch wheels, and Small, Medium, Large, and X-Large frames with 29-inch wheels.

Alma is for the fiercest competitors, the athletes who accept nothing less than the absolute best. When a few fleeting seconds separate fast from faster, Alma makes the difference. The Orbea Alma uses the most technologically advanced carbon construction available to make the most sophisticated frame possible—a complex and painstaking process with results you will appreciate on the trail. Refinements of Alma’s World Cup Geometry reflect the evolution of elite racing. A slacker head angle provides stability on increasingly demanding tracks. The use of a steeper seat angle and lower stack height increase the bike's handling precision and pedaling efficiency. To account for external forces on the frame under the rider’s weight—cornering stresses or vibration from impacts—Orbea created a natural flex point by adding a bend in the top tube. The result is an efficient, smooth ride that feels like floating over rough terrain. The bike's shorter chainstays deliver maximum agility, precision, and responsiveness without affecting the bike's stability. Internal cable routing pulls double duty by protecting the cables and enhancing the frame's clean lines. TRAIL GETS BIGGER The natural progression of mountain biking has led to more aggressive trails. As such, riders want a trail bike with more travel, larger tires, extra stability, and more opportunities for customization. The Orbea Occam checks all the boxes—it’s more aggressive with longer travel, and comes with sturdier tires and wider rims. The frame design utilizes Orbea’s unique Advanced Dynamics development. This process transforms virtual models into real, highly-refined machines—bikes for demanding riders that are faster, more fun to ride, and far beyond ordinary. Orbea designed the Occam frame to pull Double Duty, packing two bikes into one platform—choose between 27.5-inch plus and 29-inch wheel sizes in the same frame. Taking advantage of the unique properties of carbon fiber, Orbea has done away with the pivot point at the rear axle, saving over 140g. The flexible seat stay design creates an ultralight bike that requires little maintenance and offers stiffness and acceleration like you’ve never felt in a full suspension bike. Consistent and proportional stack and reach measurements guarantee that every rider experiences the same flawless handling. Occam TR is precise and responsive with short 435mm chainstays and the excellent rigidity of a 12mm through-axle system. The Boost standard widens rear axle spacing which increases the space available at the bottom bracket. This results in room for wider tires, a stiffer bottom bracket juncture, and wider hubs for a stronger wheel. Adding up to a svelte, fun, and fast bike, the Occam TR is ready when the trail gets bigger.

Do your friends ask if you intend to ride the chairlift when you invite them out for a ‘few’ park laps? Do your top routes frequently involve pushing up and down trails that aren’t on any map? Do your favorite rides begin or end with headlamps, an ice chest, and great friends? Does your bike have to do everything well to get you there and back again? If you think you might be this rider, then Occam should be your bike. Occam provides 140mm of travel via its unique, asymmetrical rear suspension design. Instead of using a less-efficient “shock tunnel” the Occam design offsets the shock to the left side of the frame, allowing the asymmetrical support to follow a more direct path. In addition to improving stiffness and shaving weight, this shock mount position offers incredibly easy access to damper controls, and the tidy design leaves room for a water bottle with easy left-side access. - Orbea Occam OMR 2020 frame - Fox DPX2 Factory rear shock

Oiz is familiar with the hard work it takes to reach summits, leader boards and podium steps. We don’t need to fabricate a pedigree for this phenomenon—two world championships prove Oiz is a thoroughbred. It's the lightest, stiffest, and most efficient machine available, whether you pin on a number or take it up to the highest peak on your afternoon ride. Refinements of Oiz’s World Cup Geometry were born from years of designing world-class XC bikes. The position is aggressive, comfortable, and fast. Handling is precise and intuitive for maximum agility without instability. Angles and dimensions are considered carefully across the range of sizes, maximizing power by increasing efficiency. But, Oiz is so much more than fast and agile. In it's thoughtful details, you'll discover the kind of design that separates the best from the rest. These elements are many, including the proprietary rear shock lockout, which is completely invisible, hiding from mud and staying out of your way as you grab a water bottle. And, speaking of water, one of the simplest features of of the new Oiz was one of the most complex to accomplish—the Medium, Large, and X-Large frames are all equipped with two bottle mounts inside the front triangle. The additional room made available by the Inside Line cable routing puts extra water at your fingertips instead of in your pocket or on your back. That may seem trivial on paper, but on the bike, having the water you need can make or break a ride. Finally, the Oiz's three-position Squidlock lockout lever is compact, lightweight, and integrates with your dropper post lever so you can use just one clamp for both assemblies. The list of refinements goes on. Learn for yourself why the Oiz consistently rides away from the pack by riding one yourself. - Orbea Oiz Carbon frame - Fox i-line DPS Factory rear shock

Oiz is familiar with the hard work it takes to reach summits, leaderboards and podium steps. There’s no need to fabricate a pedigree for this phenomenon—two world championships prove Oiz is a racing thoroughbred. Oiz is synonymous with serious cross-country, and its presence on the World Cup is undeniable. It’s the lightest, stiffest, and most efficient machine available, whether you pin on a number or take it up to the highest peak on your afternoon ride. There is no better weapon to aim for the top—Oiz has what you need to get there. The OMR frame uses the most technologically advanced carbon construction available to make the most sophisticated frame possible. Prepreg carbon sheets are laser cut to minimize excess materials and overlap, and hours of premolding ensure optimal compaction with the smallest amount of carbon. In an easily-overlooked detail, Orbea routed the rear shock lockout cable inside the frame’s top tube. This hides the lockout from mud and keeps it out of your way as you grab a water bottle, while maintaining lockout control at your fingertips. This improvement also freed up space in the front triangle—enough for two bottle mounts on the MD, LG, and XL frames. Furthermore, in the quest for stiffness and clean lines, Orbea developed the Fiberlink rear linkage. This carbon fiber injected unit has a perfect blend of low weight and impressive rigidity and integrates seamlessly into the frame and seat tube. Refinements of Oiz’s World Cup Geometry are born from years of designing world-class XC bikes. The position is aggressive, comfortable and fast. Handling is precise and intuitive for maximum agility. The frame angles and dimensions are carefully considered across the full range of sizes to optimize fit and maximize efficiency for every rider. Boost spacing adds rigidity for improved and more predictable handling, as well as increases wheel strength.

Enduralin: it's the difference between the tentative first go of the year and the ripping third lap of a midsummer day. It's the ease of knowing your suspension is dialed. It's a boost of confidence, speed, and control when a bit more of any could make a winning formula. Enduralin is the extra bit of fun that turns a good ride into a great one— the shouting of the crowd, the cowbells, a flow state of euphoria, accelerated reaction time, and enhanced perception. It's the difference between a good ride and an all-time ride. And the Orbea Rallon has Enduralin flowing through its veins. The frame utilizes Orbea Monocoque Race (OMR) materials, an optimum blend of high-modulus and high-strength fibers. Prepreg carbon sheets are laser cut to minimize excess materials and overlap, and hours of pre-molding ensure optimal compaction with the smallest amount of carbon. The frame has a unique feature in the front triangle that offsets the shock relative to center and adds an asymmetric support on the non-drive-side. This progressive design stiffens and strengthens the pivot system, offers incredibly easy access to damper controls, and increases the room available for a tool kit and water bottle. It also allows the top tube to be moved down for an extremely low standover. The Rallon’s Pure Enduro geometry features a slack head angle, long cockpit, long wheelbase, and steep seat angle. Additionally, the geometry can be adjusted trailside for a more aggressive position—a simple rotation of the shock mount pin drops the BB by 7mm and slackens angles by .5-deg. Boost spacing moves the chainline outboard by 3mm, increasing the space available at the bottom bracket. This doesn’t sound like much but means that tire clearance can be increased without sacrificing drivetrain clearance or swingarm rigidity. All of it adds up to more durability, nimble handling and a bike that tracks better through rough terrain.

It’s a boost of confidence, speed, and control when a bit more of any could make a winning formula. And, it's the extra bit of fun that turns a good ride into a great one. There's the shouting of the crowd, a flow state of euphoria, cowbells, chainsaws, accelerated reaction time, and enhanced perception— an there's you riding a Rallon straight to glory. Rallon's concentric boost suspension with high main pivot point provides unique freedom to our engineers to finely design the kinematics so that pedaling efficiency, small bump sensitivity, suspension progressivity, and stiffness-to-weight ratio can each be independently optimized. What you get from this freedom is minimum pedaling energy loss, outstanding bump absorption, and a staggering amount of grip and control. Advanced Dynamics is at the heart of every Orbea suspension bike. It is a computer-based modeling process we developed in conjunction with CEIT (Centro de Estudios e Investigaciones Tecnológicas) that allows us to virtually test and fine-tune our suspension platforms. Using a vast database of shock tunes and component behaviors we can study designs with a simulated rider that exerts forces on the pedals, saddle, and handlebars, resulting in a design that works as well in the real world as it does in the lab. - Orbea monocoque carbon frame - Fox Float X2 Factory rear shock - OneUp chainguide
