An Agonist pits force against force; competitor against rival and athlete against nature, in fierce competition, to achieve an ultimate goal. For riders who charge up fast, epic climbs and over traverses – but also want to have serious fun on the long descent back to civilization – we created the Agonist. Harmonizing two opposing capabilities, like the agonist and antagonist muscle groups, to work toward one purpose. The Agonist demands as much of itself as you do, and together…you are unstoppable.

The Agonist 02 ONE possesses all of the trail-conquering features you would expect from BMC. It features a carbon main triangle and triple-butted aluminum rear triangle, tied together by Fox Float suspension for soaking up the trail. Braking and handling under activated suspension are uncompromised due to BMC's Advanced Pivot System suspension, and when you need to drop your speed quickly the Shimano SLX brakes are up to the task. The SRAM GX Eagle drivetrain boasts plenty of gear range to get you to the trailhead and up the steepest climbs, while the X-Fusion Manic 125mm dropper post adds maneuverability. DT Swiss X1700 Spline wheels wrapped in Vittoria Barzo tires round out the build, offering lightweight, durability, and tubeless compatibility.
