Fusing the power of technology with human potential, the Alpenchallenge AMP Road has been crafted with rider-oriented integration, a powerful drive unit, and a super-lightweight frame to deliver an unrivaled performance e-road bike experience.

Along with the sleek carbon chassis and powerful Shimano drive unit, to maximize your comfort and control on varying road surfaces we utilized our Micro Travel Technology; which provides 10mm of tuned bump absorption to take the edge off of rougher surfaces while supporting long days in the saddle. The Shimano STEPS E-8000 motor provides spectacular power and a minimalist aesthetic, while the ICS Technology optimizes cable routing for a clean, integrated look and allows for ample fit adjustments. The Alpenchallenge AMP Road has ample tire clearance—up to 700 x 40c—for increased versatility that lets you adapt to any road.

Shifting Performance
Electronic shifting systems use powerful servomotors to rapidly shift the chain. Because microprocessors and sensors constantly monitor every aspect of the system, they shift with precisely and without chain rub.

Customization
Many major systems have customizable shifting. Some have the ability to add remote shifters for common riding positions, and some even allow you to change the functions of the shifting buttons.
