It's an ambitious order. That’s why we re-engineered the Speedfox to deliver on all fronts. Lightweight, tough, and versatile, yet still eager for all-out speed.

The Speedfox 02 features a premium carbon front triangle that’s teamed up with a triple-butted aluminum rear-end to deliver a versatile trail bike hungry for singletrack adventures. The trail-tuned APS suspension keeps you rolling efficiently and chews up chunky terrain features standing in your way. Combined with our Big Wheel Concept 29er geometry and intuitive Trailsync dropper post and shock-tuning system, the result is the most agile and innovative trail bike in the game.

BMC Speedfox 02 geometry

A dropper seatpost allows you to quickly lower and raise your seat to give you an ideal riding position. Dropping your seat creates a lower center of gravity for better control and maneuverability on steep descents, while raising it puts you at normal riding height for efficient pedaling.

Construction can include either hydraulic- or cable-actuated systems and the post’s travel can either be infinitely adjustable or stopped at set intervals, depending on the model.

Dropper seatposts come in standard lengths and diameters and vary by the amount of travel.
