With the Thunderbolt Carbon 90 BC edition, Rocky Mountain reveals an all-new carbon frame and long-stroke shock that push the rear travel to 140mm, increases stiffness, lowers the rate curve slightly, and gives the frame a host of next-generation features—but keeps its playful geometry and wide-range of RIDE-9 adjustments. The Thunderbolt BC excels as a trail bike and on today’s increasingly rowdy XC courses. Fox keeps your tires gripping the course with a DPS EVOL Factory shock that is ready to take on terrain that would far exceed the capabilities of most XC bikes. It’s ready to be built into the bike that takes you to victory, or maybe just takes your breath away.
The RIDE-9 adjustment system allows riders to quickly fine-tune their geometry and suspension with a pair of Allen keys. Nine configurations are possible thanks to two interlocking chips. Position 1 geometry configuration shown below.
