A durable, lightweight alloy frame and fork with space for wider tires and fender mounts make this a capable, versatile bike. The Shimano Claris drivetrain features drop-bar shifters that put shifting at your fingertips and a wide gear range that's well-suited cruising at speed or climbing steep hills. Shimano hydraulic disc brakes offer plenty of stopping power, and their flat mount design yields a cleaner look. For a strong, lightweight wheelset, SCOTT went with Syncros Race rims laced to Formula Team hubs. These are wrapped in durable Schwalbe Spicer tires, which at 35mm wide offer plenty of grip and help smooth out rough roads.
