A custom-butted alloy frame with Virtual 4 Link kinematic design forms the core of the Ransom 930. With frame protection in mind, SCOTT integrated a shield underneath the bottom bracket and downtube, as well as noise-silencing chainstay/seatstay protectors. 170mm of plush suspension comes in the form of RockShox Yari RL fork and X-Fusion Nude rear suspension. TwinLoc suspension System allows you to control the trail mode of the front and rear suspension simultaneously with a single lever. For any trail with rapidly changing terrain, this level of control leads to a faster, more fun ride. A Sram Eagle drivetrain with DUB boost crankset improves chainline and features smoother, longer-lasting bottom bracket bearings. A Syncros Dropper 2.0 seatpost provides the ability to lower the saddle at a moment's notice, getting your center of gravity lower and farther back for increased control and agility through tricky sections of trail. A strong wheel package is achieved with Syncros X-30S rims joined to Formula boost hubs, for stiffness, strength, and ease of tubeless setup. Maxxis Minion DH tires offer huge knobs and extremely durable sidewalls so you don't have to worry about flats, but can just focus on the ride.
