The Orbea Alma H series begins with a lightweight and durable hydroformed aluminum frame paired with 100mm of front suspension. Refinements of its geometry reflect the evolution of racing and trail riding. A slacker head angle provides stability on increasingly demanding tracks. The use of a steeper seat angle and lower stack height increase the bike's handling precision and pedaling efficiency. To account for external forces on the frame under the rider’s weight—cornering stresses or vibration from impacts—Orbea created a natural flex point by adding a bend in the top tube. The result is an efficient, smooth ride that feels like floating over rough terrain. The bike's shorter chainstays deliver maximum agility, precision, and responsiveness without affecting the bike's stability. Internal cable routing pulls double duty by protecting the cables and enhancing the frame's clean lines. A remote lockout on the fork increases the bike's efficiency when climbing or rolling on smooth surfaces, and for maximum braking power and precise control, hydraulic disc brakes deliver the goods.
