Any Trail, Any time. The Genius 940 features an SL6011 aluminum frame with a geometry that's tuned to balance climbing abilities and descending handling. It features a slacker headtube with a longer reach, shorter chainstays, and a steeper seat angle. Additionally, SCOTT's TwinLoc Suspension System allows the rider to control the complete frame, fork, and shock as a system by changing compression damping and spring curve. Ultimately the ability to switch between modes depending on the trail at the push of a lever results in a faster and more fun ride.

A Fox fork and rear shock dish out 150mm of plush front and rear travel, and feature 3 modes: Lockout, Traction Control, and Descend. The 12-speed SRAM Eagle drivetrain provides that "infinite shifting" feel, meaning you'll have plenty of gearing no matter how steep the trail. The GX DUB crankset is boost spaced for improved chain line and features longer-lasting, smoother bottom bracket bearings. For maximum control on the descents, the Shimano MT520 quad-piston hydraulic disc brakes offer extra rotor-clamping power. It includes a Syncros Dropper 2.0 for getting the saddle down and out of the way on rowdy descents, further increasing this bike's all-mountain capabilities. The Syncros X-30S rims laced to Formula hubs provide a sturdy footing for aggressive shredding, with a 30mm tubeless-ready rim that's ideal for plus-sized tires. Maxxis Rekon 2.6-inch tires feature are tubeless-ready and feature EXO casing for stronger sidewalls.
