Using high-modulus carbon fiber formed into frame shapes that mimic airfoils, SCOTT has created a bike that excels at speed. The FOIL 10 is also designed to be stiff, so you get the most power transfer out of every pedal stroke. This is achieved with a tapered steerer tube that maintains a minimum diameter of 1-1/4-inch, along with an oversized bottom bracket that allows for a wide connection of the downtube and seat tube. Additional details such as the integrated headset and stem and internal cable routing push the performance of the FOIL 10 even farther. The Shimano Ultegra Di2 drivetrain provides quick, crisp shifting, while direct-mount caliper brakes ensure powerful braking and reliable control. Syncros Meritt 1.5 wheels feature an alloy braking surface with a carbon fairing that brings the overall rim depth to 50mm tall, offering a distinct aerodynamic advantage. Paired with Schwalbe ONE tires, renowned for their low rolling resistance, results in a super-efficient wheelset. Syncros aero bars and an aero carbon seatpost round out the bike's purpose-built components by further reducing drag.
